Industry case studies
What these are, and what they are not
These are reconstructions, not case studies in the empirical-SE sense. MAGE ran at none of these companies. Each page reads one independent practitioner report through MAGE’s vocabulary, to test how cleanly a system built by other people, for other reasons, maps onto the theory. The correspondence is always the book’s reading of the source — never a claim the company makes.
These cases are practitioner reports, not replications of MAGE and not causal tests. A correspondence cell states how cleanly the source's described behavior maps onto a MAGE construct as the BOOK reads it — never a claim Cloudflare (or any site) makes about MAGE, and never proof. not-described means the SOURCE is silent; absence from a report is NOT evidence the company lacks the practice.
The six
Across all six
One page reads the six side by side. The comparative analysis projects the book’s Chapter 6 matrices to the web — the correspondence matrix, the modeling-ceiling ladder, and the convergence tables — from the same model the print edition builds, so the two surfaces cannot fall out of step.
