How do we build our designs and govern changes to them?

Act II turns from the structures used to reason about software to the work of realizing and changing systems. It covers implementation and representation, engineering with software agents, and the validation and assurance mechanisms used to keep change aligned with engineering intent.

• Implementation & Representation — translating designs into executable systems and choosing representations that make important properties explicit.
• Agentic Engineering & Governed Change — using software agents as engineering instruments while constraining and governing the changes they produce.
• Validation & Assurance — establishing evidence that a system satisfies its requirements and other engineering obligations.
