Phase 0

Overview

Phase 0 establishes the people and problem space for your semester project. By the end of this phase, you will have been assigned to:

1. A team of 3–5 students who will design and build one system together; and
2. A pod consisting of multiple teams working from the same regulation.

You do not need to decide what you will build during Phase 0. That work begins in Phase 1. Your job now is to understand the available problem spaces well enough to express informed preferences.

Candidate projects

The candidate regulations and example projects are listed on the Candidate Regulatory Projects page: the ADA Title II Digital Accessibility Rule, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and the SEC Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules.

Identify partner(s) and then fill out the Google sheet. Please report:

• Name(s) and email(s)
• LLM license strength
• Ranking of regulations by interest (NOT projects, just regulations)

This assignment is not graded, except insofar as a failure to complete it will result in you not having a team and subsequently failing the course.
