Appendix D — Operator's Reference

Operational reference for running a Governed Engineering Environment

This appendix collects operational reference material used while running a Governed Engineering Environment. The chapters teach the method; these pages support practicing it. You do not read them once and move on — you come back to them mid-build, the way you keep a wiring diagram at the bench.

Each entry answers a standing operational question with a single surface you can scan. The first is the Operator's Dashboard: the metrics you steer by while the work is in flight and certify the result with at maturity, on one page. The second is From Drifted Wiki to Trusted Model: the brownfield migration drill that joins a legacy wiki to the code and walks it from drifted documentation to a governed model, projected from Chapter 4.1 onto a single tear-out card.

The appendix is built to grow. These are the first reference cards, not the last; future editions add the operational surfaces a practitioner reaches for often enough to want them collected:

Together these make the laminated reference card for running the environment: the pages you consult while operating, kept apart from the narrative that explains why they read the way they do.
